Reggae singer, songwriter, and producer Alborosie is back with his sixth dub album, Back-A-Yard Dub, on VP/Greensleeves Records on April 23rd, 2021. The album is a strictly instrumental dub mix of the acclaimed Wailing Souls album Back-A-Yard, which he produced last year. Back-A-Yard Dub features a rhythm section anchored by Roots Radics bassist Errol ‘Flabba’ Holt and recorded at Alborosie’s Shengen Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. 

Back-A-Yard Dub showcases Alborosie’s love for the Jamaican remix craft, utilizing the spectrum of vintage gear he has collected over the years, bringing a sound closer to the heyday of Channel One and King Tubby’s than any other modern studio in Jamaica. In fact, the album release follows the release of the digital audio workstation plug-in set, Alborosie Dub Station, a set of digital processors that emulate the gear engineered by the late King Tubby.
