Released on 21 April 1991 and featuring 46 tracks on four CDs, X² is the second official box set by Depeche Mode. The European and North American markets did not see a release of this title as it was made and compiled exclusively for Japan. The X² limited edition CD box is the second set in a two-part series, the first one is X¹.

Including 46-tracks of Instrumentals, B-Sides, Live 1 and Live 2 CDs. all housed in 6" x 5" x 2" overprinted black hesian box complete with two glossy booklets and Japanese text insert complete with the hard to find wraparound obi-strip. All the discs inside will be custom promo stamped on the inner rim & the obi has a promo sticker on the spine. This fantastic set remains factory sealed, apart from a small indentation to one edge, remains in a fantastic condition and the first sealed promo copy we have ever had ALCB-205~208)
