King Edi K is a concept created based on loops that mix the tradition of African music with more modern sounds such as electronica and funk, which also has some bases of this music. This project was born from Edi Kistle, founder of Matanga Records, who seeks to create a party that honors African music while making us dance and plunges us into a trance.
