On all counts Goku plays to big dance spaces with a rolling heft and subtle emotive quality native to the Dekmantel sound. ‘Tides (Under the Moonlight)’ stealthily whips up a trancey peak like Surgeon on a Gary, and ‘Tanggu FM’ rolls out swollen kicks under a trippier patina of processed vox and syn-flutes. ‘Radiants’ balances iridescent synth glitter with burlier bass shunt and sparkling Korg lead, next to the eye-flutter synth spirals of ‘Temple Arp’.
