A year after we fell for the first volume in this series, the Tarfari All Stars are back with Rarities From The Vault Volume 2 and another collection of earthy roots and lovers rock from an array of foundational artists. It is another deep dive into the vaults of the Safari label with music by the likes of Pau & Paluka, Leroy Sibbles, John Clarke and Maurice 'Scorcher' Jackson. 'Make You Move' kicks off with dusty and earthy riffs that are deep cut and topped with lo-fi vocals. Elsewhere 'Give Me Love' layers up the chords and wispy hi hats and Tafari All-Stars' 'God Is Love' swaggers slowly and seductively.
