A nice selection of classic soul numbers from the 60s, sweet soul as the title suggests, and although we remembered this collection as being pretty much tied to mainstream tastes, there are some nice little nuggets here that they dug a little deeper for. 14 tracks in all: “Night Train” by James Brown, “Last Night” by the Mar-keys, “Soul Twist” by King Curtis, “Wack Wack” by Young Holt Trio, “Twime Time” by Alvin Cash, “The Horse” by Cliff Nobles and more.
