2025 marks the 40th anniversary of one of the most iconic riddims in reggae and dancehall history, the legendary Sleng Teng. Produced by King Jammy, Noel Davey and Wayne Smith who also voiced  the riddim entitled song “Under Mi Sleng Teng”. 
 
This phenomenon  ushered in a new era of music in Jamaica and the world. It wasn’t just a hit it was a revolution. A digital riddim born from a Casio keyboard preset, Sleng Teng flipped the script on reggae production and set the foundation for the digital dancehall era.
