Meiko Nakahara - Lotos

Released in the mid-’80s, Lotos captures Meiko Nakahara at a point where Japanese city pop was leaning into deeper sophistication and subtle emotional nuance. Known for her smooth, expressive voice and jazz-inflected phrasing, Nakahara delivers a collection that blends refined city pop, soft funk, and adult contemporary soul with understated elegance.
